The dead sticking is incorporated to emmulate a strumming acoustic guitar player muting some of his/her strokes. It’s really a cool effect on the mallet instruments. At Letter C there’s a [[timbale]] solo, and this section can be opened up if you’d like to add a [[drum set]] solo as well. At Letter D, the phrase markings in the [[Xylophone]] and [[Marimba]] 1 parts are very important.
