"Shades" of two instruments, transformed into music, whose sound is not least generated by "wood": saxophone and marimba.

In the three movements of the work, namely "Chestnut Dance", "Weeping Willow" and "Limes in the Wind", rock parts, melodic phrases and rhythmically accented passages alternate.
